September 22, 2010 Carletoons
Sorry if you received a duplicate of the previous mailing. The mailing engine is named SmartSend, but it can't be any smarter than the person pushing the buttons, and I must have poked the wrong one. On top of that, half the addresses to which I'm sending treat the mailing as spam and bounce it. Sigh. However, email is only one way to keep in touch, including the actual handwritten kind that is required with the several friends who have no computer skills. Interestingly, they are all scholars my age or older who more than have the smarts, but no inclination to learn. In between smearing oil on canvas I'm working on a Carletoon for everybody for Halloween that should produce a few groans. I hope the one above is to your liking. Sincerely Carleton
